The main difference between FEP tube and PFA tube is that the temperature of FEP tube is 200 degrees, and the temperature of PFA tube is 260 degrees. Other differences are very small.

Common names: FEP tube, PFA tube, transparent Teflon tube, F46 tube, FEP casing, PFA casing, transparent Teflon casing, F46 casing, FEP tubing, PFA tubing, transparent Teflon tubing, F46 tubing , FEP trachea, PFA trachea, transparent Teflon trachea, F46 trachea

  Product specifications: Color: Common colors: transparent, black;

Unusual colors: yellow, brown, green, blue

  Features: Common features:

Operating temperature: -200 degrees to 200 degrees: easy processability: flanging, welding: aging resistance: can be exposed to ozone and sunlight for a long time without aging.

High transparency: The refractive index is the lowest among all plastics, and the flow of the medium in the pig can be viewed directly

Corrosion resistance: able to withstand the action of all strong acids, strong oxidants, strong reducing agents and various organic solvents except for molten alkali metals, fluorinated media and those above 300°

Unusual characteristics: density: 2.14-2.17g/cm3; volume resistance>1×1018; surface resistance>2×1013; arc resistance>165 seconds without leakage; low water absorption: water absorption rate <0.1%; lowest friction coefficient: friction The coefficient is the smallest; the surface is not sticky: the known solid material head cannot stick to the surface.

Non-combustibility: Will not burn in the air and meet the strict requirements for fire protection

Non-toxic: five toxins, tasteless, physiologically inert, no harm to people and the environment

Common specifications: inner diameter * outer diameter (unit: mm)

  Metric system: 2*4 3*5 4*6 5*7 6*8 8*10 8*12 9*12 10*12

  12*14 14*16 16*18 18*20

  British system: 1/8 inch (1.6*3.2) 1/4 inch (3.96*6.35) 3/8 inch (6.35*9.525)

  1/2 inch (9.5*12.7) 3/4 inch (15.88*19.05) 1 inch (22.2*25.4)

Other specifications can be produced, the inner diameter is 0.5mm to 200mm, and the wall thickness is 0.12mm to 3mm.

PFA plastic is a copolymer of a small amount of perfluoropropyl perfluorovinyl ether and polytetrafluoroethylene. The melt adhesion is enhanced, the melt viscosity is reduced, and the performance is unchanged compared with polytetrafluoroethylene. This kind of resin can be directly processed into products by ordinary thermoplastic molding methods. It is suitable for the production of corrosion-resistant parts, wear-reducing and wear-resistant parts, seals, insulating parts and equipment parts, high-temperature wires, cable insulation, anti-corrosion equipment, sealing materials, pump valve bushings, and chemical containers.

  1. It is a copolymer of a small amount of perfluoropropyl perfluorovinyl ether and polytetrafluoroethylene. The melt adhesion is enhanced, the melt viscosity is reduced, and the performance is unchanged compared with polytetrafluoroethylene. This kind of resin can be directly processed into products by ordinary thermoplastic molding methods.

  2. The long-term use temperature is -196-260 degrees, it has excellent chemical resistance, corrosion resistance to all chemicals, the lowest friction coefficient among plastics, and good electrical properties. Its electrical insulation is not affected by temperature. Influence, known as the "Plastic King".

  3. Its chemical resistance is similar to polytetrafluoroethylene and better than vinylidene fluoride.

  4. Its creep resistance and compressive strength are better than PTFE, with high tensile strength and elongation of 100-300%. Good dielectric properties and excellent radiation resistance. Flame retardancy reaches V0 level.

  5. Suitable for making corrosion-resistant parts, wear-reducing and wear-resistant parts, sealing parts, insulating parts and instrument parts.

  6. High-temperature wire and cable insulation, anti-corrosion equipment, sealing materials, pump valve bushings, and chemical containers.

  Forming performance

  1. Crystal material, low moisture absorption. It can be processed into products by the usual processing methods of thermoplastics.

  2. Poor fluidity, easy to decompose, and produce corrosive gas during decomposition. It is advisable to strictly control the molding temperature not to exceed 475 degrees, the mold should be heated to 150-200 degrees, and the pouring system should have low resistance to material flow.

  3. Translucent pellets, injection molding and extrusion molding. The molding temperature is 350-400 degrees, and the temperature above 475 degrees is likely to cause discoloration or air bubbles. And pay attention to demoulding will be more difficult.

  4. Because the molten material has a corrosive effect on the metal, the mold needs to be electroplated with chromium for long-term production.

  Perfluoroalkoxy resin

PFA resins are relatively new melt-processable fluoroplastics.

The melting point of PFA is about 580F and the density is 2.13-2.16g/cc (grams/cubic centimeter). PFA is similar to PTFE and FEP, but above 302T, the mechanical properties are slightly better than FEP, and can be used at temperatures up to 500F, and its chemical resistance is equivalent to PTFE. The product forms of PFA include granular products for molding and extrusion, and powder products for rotational molding and coating; its semi-finished products include films, plates, rods and tubes. The PFA resins distributed in the US market include the Teflon brand of DUPOut, the Neoflon brand of Daikin, the Hthen brand of Ansimont, and the Hostafl brand of HOechst Celanese. The use of PFA is similar to FEP.
