Laser welding ptfe tube has its advantages and disadvantages.
The advantages of laser welding are:
Compared with traditional spot welding, the lap joint is shorter, which is conducive to the weight reduction and cost reduction of the body.
The heat input is small, the heat-affected zone is small, the shrinkage and deformation of the workpiece are small, and no post-welding correction is required.
The welding seam has high strength, fast welding speed, narrow welding seam and good surface condition, eliminating the need for post-weld cleaning and other tasks.
It is possible to realize long-distance, difficult-to-reach parts by ordinary methods through optical fiber, and multiple simultaneous or time-sharing welding.
The laser beam has a small laser focus spot and high power density, which can weld some alloy materials with high melting point and high strength.
The production efficiency is high, the processing quality is stable and reliable, and the economic and social benefits are good.
The disadvantages of laser welding are:
The weld bead solidifies relatively quickly, and there may be defects such as porosity and embrittlement.
Due to the large spatter, the weld seam of penetration welding is rougher than that of brazing, but the strength is much stronger than that of ordinary spot welding.
Compared with other welding methods, the cost of lasers and related systems is higher, and the initial one-time investment is larger.
It is difficult to control the laser wire filler welding process. Laser wire filler welding belongs to fusion welding, and the focused spot is irradiated on the workpiece and the welding wire respectively. The molten pool is small. To make the continuously fed welding wire melt uniformly, the accurate control of the relative position of the light wire is very important.
Due to the small size of laser focused spot and narrow welding seam, laser welding requires high assembly accuracy of the workpiece. The position of the weldment must be very precise, and the position of the beam on the workpiece must not be significantly shifted, and it must be within the focus range of the laser beam. If the assembly accuracy of the workpiece or the positioning accuracy of the beam does not meet the requirements, it is easy to cause welding defects.

In addition, due to the above shortcomings, higher requirements are placed on the technical and economic strength of automobile manufacturers, which restricts the wide application of laser welding technology in China. At present, its application in my country's automobile body-in-white manufacturing industry is still relatively limited.
If welding is required, we generally recommend FEP tubes and PFA tubes. The welding process of FEP tubes and PFA tubes is relatively mature, and the laser welding ptfe light welding process is relatively poor.
2. PTFE board manufacturer

The advantages are as follows:
1. A wide range of high and low temperature applications. It can be used for a long time in the range of -180℃~250℃;

3. High electrical insulation. Unaffected by environmental conditions and frequency, it is a Class C insulating material;
Fourth, it has good lubricity. After adding different kinds of filler materials, it can enhance the hardness and wear resistance. It is an ideal material for oil-free lubrication;
5. Good weather resistance. Exposure to the atmosphere for many years, the surface and its various properties remain unchanged.
Teflon board characteristics:
The maximum width of the PTFE board is 2.5 meters, and it is made of suspended polytetrafluoroethylene resin by molding. According to the production process, it is divided into two types: molded board and turned board. Among the known plastics, PTFE has the best chemical resistance and dielectric properties. It is not aging, non-sticky, and can be used at a temperature of -180℃-+260℃ under no load. It can be used in known solids. It has the lowest coefficient of friction among the materials.
